Why do we have a privacy policy?

Major Training is committed to privacy for everyone who accesses the site. Under the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we must comply with certain regulations that are designed to ensure that any data you provide to us is processed with due care and attention.

Major Training collects only collects data about you to help in the course booking and delivery process. This data consists of information such as your name, address, e-mail address.  Where payment is required by credit or debit card, we only hold financial information to allow us to process your booking(s) and to keep accurate financial records to comply with UK law for Tax and Audit purposes.  Sensitive data such as account numbers and Security card details are destroyed immediately after the transaction is made.

Why do we process this personal data?

We process this personal data e.g. email addresses to allow us to offer further training opportunities. We may also use data collected in the aggregate to help us to understand our users as a group so that we can provide you with a better service.
