Summary: This course provides an Introduction to Microsoft Word , part of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs. Participants will learn about the features that make up Microsoft Word and will begin to understand how to make use of them.
Pre-requisites: All attendees to a Word course must be proficient with basic Mouse, Keyboard and Windows skills. You are not expected to have prior knowledge of MS Word but any exposure will be of benefit.

Start & Finish Times: 10am to 5pm
Objectives: The Introduction to Word course will enable participants to identify and describe the component features that collectively make up MS Word . This includes toolbar elements and Word document layouts. Participants will be taught the skills to create accurate text documents using a range of paragraph and character formats and alignments. If you are required to produce clear, well laid out documents such as letters and reports, this course shows you how to achieve the required results.
Who should attend: Our ‘Introduction’ course is designed for busy people who need to know how to get the best from their applications from the outset. If you are new to Word or are not comfortable with producing standard letters and reports, then this course will put you on track.
