Do you have training centres anywhere outside of London?A. No we only have the once venue in Covent Garden, but we are able to travel on-site to all clients and can send trainers to you from Lands End to John O’groats. Q. Do you offer private 1-2-1 training?A. Yes we do. Please call or ask for details. Q. What time do your courses run from?A. Typically for all Public courses we start at 10:00am and finish at 5:00pm. For closed company courses we offer a degree of flexibility ranging from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Q. How can I pay for my courses?A. If booking as a business we will invoice you, but you can pay by Cheque (made Payable to Major Training Ltd), or BACS/Electronic transfer, or over the phone by credit or Debit card. (We take all cards except AMEX) If booking as a Private individual you can pay by cheque or credit/debit card prior to the course. Q. Do I need to bring anything with me on the training day?A. Normally no. We provide everything. If we have agreed to work on your files or a project, we will let you know if you need to bring your work files with you. Q. Do you provide lunch and cater for special food / dietary requirements?A. yes, we provide a delicious menu at a local restaurant or vouchers that can be spent anywhere in Covent Garden. Q. Do you provide course books/materials?A. We can supply optional course texts at a reduced rate if required. Q. How many people are on each course?A. Depending on the type of course a maximum of 6 – 8 Q. Can I change my mind once I have booked my course?A. Yes and No! – Please see our terms of business as cancellation and transfer fees vary depending on when you are looking to move. Q. Do you give certificates after the course?A. Yes everyone attending a course will be issued with a certificate on completion. Q. Do you offer support once the training has finished?A. Yes, we offer a free email post course email support service. Do you train on Mac's or PC's?
A. We train on both although the number of Macs available is limited so please give us as much notice as you can. Q. What is the dress code for coming to your training centre?
A. Come as you are, we have an informal internal policy with our own staff, and so you are not required to dress up. Q. Can I use my mobile phone at your offices?
A. Yes - BUT... Once training has started, it is distracting for the trainer and other attendee's if users leave their phones on, so please either turn them on to silent / vibrate or leave them turned off altogether. If you do need to answer your phone, please leave the training room with as little disruption as possible. We respectfully ask you not to carry on phone conversations while in the training room. |
