Summary: This course provides people with some experience of Microsoft Access , the opportunity to learn new skills in Access and to be able to complete more complex tasks.

Pre-requisites: All attendees to Microsoft Access Courses must be proficient with basic Mouse, Keyboard and Windows skills. You should be familiar with the topics covered on our Microsoft Access introduction course , either directly by attending the course, or having had hands on experience of the areas covered.

Start & Finish Times: 10am to 5pm

Objectives: This hands-on course will enable participants to identify and describe the component features that collectively make up Microsoft Access . Participants will be able to build database objects including Tables, Queries, Simple Forms and Reports.

Managing Relationships: Establishing Relationships. Editing relationships. Joining tables in a query.

Importing and Exporting Data: Importing Data into Access . Linking to data. Importing data from Excel. Creating a mail merge with Word. Exporting data from Access to another database. Copying data to another program. Copying data to another Access Database. Copying a table within a database.

Additional Working with Forms: Specifying properties in forms. Adding controls. Creating a drop down data entry list. Modifying controls. Creating Subforms. Creating charts on forms.

Additional Working with Reports: Fine tuning your reports. Making mailing labels. Printing reports. Saving reports as word documents. Using the Expression Builder.
