We do have a soap box, but we don’t have a pulpit. We think that our clients like to know a little bit about the companies they work with, and so in a ‘blind date’ kind of way, we thought we should tell you a little bit about us and what makes us tick, here is where we stand. What makes us stand out from the crowd?Infectious enthusiasm from start to finish, the whole process is fully managed by attentive account managers and trainers with the right balance of Technical, Industry and People Skills to make the whole process uncomplicated and stress free. Friendly, approachable Trainers that can Walk, Talk, Smile and Teach you all the useful things you need to know, while still making the training enjoyable. Our ongoing sense of obligation to get it right, we are never happy with our performance, until you are. You might expect a company this good should have an impressive client list of people who have already made the change. - We do! Now in our seventh year, our client base is as varied as it is long; just turn over the page to see a list of companies and ‘not for profit’ organisations that have made the change to Major Training and are enjoying the benefits. FairnessOur business practices are focused on honest, up-front advice on training, with a focus on service rather than sales. Our account managers are trained to offer the best advice based on your needs and circumstances; we will always advise on the most cost and time efficient ways of delivering your training. We are not afraid to offer advice based on our experience, if we think you are making a mistake in content, level or duration of courses we will tell you. Our goal is for everyone to attend their course with realistic expectations and a clear idea of what is going to be covered; it is important to us that everyone leaves the course happy with their new skills and confident in how to implement them once back in the office. Cancellation PolicyWe recognise that training has to work around busy work schedules, and getting the timing and balance right is sometimes difficult. We have worked hard on our Terms of Business, and can say that based on our research we are confident that we offer the most flexible and ‘client friendly’ terms of business within the industry. Having dramatically reduced the cancellation periods and introduced small re-booking fees and discounts on re-booked courses we feel that we have struck a balance of flexibility and fairness that is unrivalled within the training sector. Having said that, based on these adjustments, we do expect all of our clients, large and small, to sign up to these terms and work with us on that basis. EnviromentalWhile no business is perfect, at Major Training we are continuously working towards reducing our demands on the planet. We look for local suppliers for goods and services, and try to recycle our business waste. In addition to recycling, we are also trying to consume less. We have taken the step to move away from paper based course manuals and give everyone access to online course books, which can be downloaded to your PC. Internally we have an ECO ‘Crack’ team that is responsible for continually reviewing our working practices to ensure that we are doing our bit. |
